The Aim of Technology Instructional is to Identify and to Solve Learning Problems

The aim of technology instructional is to identify and to solve learning problems. From the result of the observation in the field, it is found that physics subject at SMA Negeri 5 Palu has not usable a proper material or book that is specify design to the needs of class instruction. Therefore, it is needed to design and to develop the package of instructional physics subject.

This package is developed based on Dick Carey and Carey model. The package of development instructional consists of three packages. They are: (1) book of teaching, (2) teacher’ book, (3) student’ book. The purpose of this instructional development is to optimally the process of class instruction and to help teachers in facilitating the instruction.

The result of try out from the expert of content for book of teaching is very good categorized, from the expert of design for book of teaching is very good categorized too, meanwhile for teacher’ book is good and students ’book is very good categorized. The result of try out from the expert of book of teaching media is categorized in good point, whereas for teacher’ book and students ‘books are very good categorized. The result of try out in individual phase showed that there are 18 mistakes in mistype, 15 mistakes in the usage of punctuation mark; 5 letters should be in capital, one in small letter, the others should be improved. The result of try out in small group showed that the book of teaching, teachers’ book and students’ book are in very good categorized. The result of try out in the field, form students and teacher responds both students’ book and teacher’ book are in very good categorized too. The result of pre and post test with the degree of freedom is 29 and the significant level is 0.05, it is found that t-count is 19.44 and show that is bigger than t-table is about 2.042. Therefore, it can be said that the mean differentiate is significant or in other words the book of teaching is effective.
